  • Education: High School Diploma. Culinary Arts Degree preferred. Must be a Certified Food Protection Manager.

  • Job Description: The supervisor helps provide oversight in the preparation and service of quality meals for patients, staff and visitors which are pleasing to taste, look and smell. The supervisor must hold certification as a Certified Food Protection Manager. They must be able to perform all positions within the food service department and be able to train new employees to those positions. The position reports to the Manager of Nutritional Services. The supervisor helps with scheduling, ordering food, managing cafĂ© menus and providing oversight and other duties as assigned. The supervisor also works shifts within the department. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to multi-task. They must be able to make sound judgments and exhibit professional behavior and have good people skills. Services are to be provided in a manner that is consistent with Ohio County Healthcare policies, procedures and the purpose, vision and values.
